Breaking Change

Applies To: Auto-Split Indexing – workflow only!

Changes were made to the Indexing Automation’s Auto-Split process. Previously the auto-split logic would automatically occur when the work item was moved into the work trigger that used the Document Split screen. With release 3.14 that has changed so that the auto-split logic needs to be specifically called via a new Work Trigger Action called “Auto-Split Documents”.  If you are using an Auto-Split trigger in your workflow you should add an action type of “Auto-Split Documents” into the Assignment Actions of that trigger to make sure the workflow works as expected.

      • Added data visualization system called Data Views that allow users to view their search results with graphs and charts

      • We have added the ability to add buttons in the interface for the purposes of adding interoperability with other systems.
    • BETA Viewer
      • We have included the BETA version of our new viewer. From the Record screen you can click the BETA Viewer button to view Records with the new viewer. You can always go back to the default viewer if you wish. WARNING: This viewer is experimental and incomplete. Use at your own risk.
    • Security
      • Added support for Active Directory authentication for premise-based docMgt servers. See the Technical Q&A section for more details.
    • Record Types
      • Added auto-index properties that can be used during indexing and certain auto-import processes such as our new SFTP direct upload (cloud only)
      • Split the field configuration screen into tabs to help make field set up easier and less error prone
      • Added better help information to field definition screens

      • Added REST call to get all categories in Record
      • Added ability to search for Documents in specific Record by Category
      • Added UserSearchRights and UserEntryRights properties to Record Types

      • Added ability to search using date variables such as [DATE(-1,y)] to [DATE] means to search from one year ago today to today
    • Merge Documents
      • Added support for PDF documents to merge data into PDF forms
      • Added ability to replacing images in PDF documents with images from current Record

      • Added support for importing and exporting Add-Ins
      • Added help text to bottom of each object type box
      • Removed Users box to avoid importing Users using this method
    • OCR
      • OCR engine now preserves thumbnails of all OCR’ed documents
    • Database Overrides
      • Custom database override capability has been added for use on premise based systems
    • E-Forms
      • If only one form available to user then show only that form on tool bar instead of a drop down
      • Removed extra spaces between field when used inside containers
      • Added option to upload documents relating to table rows (in beta viewer only)
      • Added option to scan documents relating to table rows (in beta viewer only)
