Highlights
This is a brief summary of the more noteworthy new features
Simplified Document Editing with Integration Tools – We have updated our Integration Tools (previously Integration Add-Ins) to work even better with the viewer. Now the viewer can automatically open up Office documents for editing with a single click. No more having to download the document and save it back up manually. Now the Integration Tools will automatically open documents for editing using the viewer’s new “Open Document” button.
Adobe Sign Integration – We are very happy to announce general availability of our new Adobe Sign integration. If you use Adobe Sign for your signature processes you can now use docMgt to manage the process before and after Adobe Sign by leveraging our new Adobe Sign workflow actions.
Multiple QBO, DocuSign, and Adobe Sign Accounts Per URL in Enterprise – Enterprise Edition now supports having multiple QuickBooks Online, DocuSign, and Adobe Sign accounts linked per docMgt URL. The Standard Edition only supports a single QBO/DocuSign/Adobe Sign account per docMgt URL.
Hide/Show Work Items – We have added the ability to hide and show work items as needed. There are times when a user wants to get an item off their list and bring it back later. You can give them a button to hide the item then either they can view hidden items to work it or you can use a follow-up action to show the item at a later time.
Prompt for Values in Workflow – In this release we added the ability to prompt for fields when a workflow button is clicked. Much like the ‘Prompt for Notes’ option, this option will ask for one to many fields to be entered or confirmed. This is a great way to provide a mechanism for reassigning workflow with a click. Or for having users confirm specific values before save.
Server Time Zone Setting – We have added a new setting in the Main Options panel to control the time zone used for [DATE], [TIME], etc. variables. Previous versions would use the server’s time zone which, especially for cloud, could be one that is different than where your users are located. By setting your time zone all date/time variables will use your chosen time zone for their values. This will simplify customization and provide better support for local time values.
