Possible Breaking Change

Impact Probability Level: Low

The DOW variable has been fixed to return the day number instead of the day name if used by itself – i.e. [DOW]. If you were using that variable to get the current day name it will no longer return a day NAME but rather a numeric value from 0 to 6. This is not an issue if used with a date sent in such as [DOW([DATE])]. 

Corrective Action

If you need to get the actual day name, you can use [FORMAT([DATE]|dddd)]

This is a list of the new features, functions and enhancements added since the previous release

  • Changed the “Export to CSV” function to place line items in the same lines as the header data with the header data replicated for each line item
• Record Types
  • Added “Allow Math During Entry” option on number fields that allows users to use simple math equations while doing entry
• E-forms
  • Updated Action selector to new design
  • Added Show All Pages button into standard E-form buttons
  • Action Fields – Added action type to Save or Cancel an embedded E-form field
  • Action Fields – Added action type to toggle Show All Pages
  • Button Field – Added option to place icon above text or to the left in the button
  • Button Field – Added option to size the icon separate from the text
  • Icons – Added reception bars icons
  • Search Results – Added ability to export CSV of records using actions
  • Flex Columns – Added option for specifying the screen size to collapse the columns when using the AUTO column setting
  • Flex Columns – Changed to only use transition animations in the designer and not on live forms

  • Reworked SSO login sequence to be more efficient

  • System will now try to prevent Assignment actions from running inside Reassign events to avoid endless loop errors
  • QBO Actions – Added Match Fields setting to allow sync to manage multiple QBO companies in one Record Type

  • Experimental Feature – Option to not standardize Date and Number values for fields defined as Text (contact support if you wish to try this feature)

  • Added direct URL option for opening the viewer’s Re-Arrange Pages option for the opened document
• Viewer
  • Changed the Read-Only version of the Data view to show a read-only version of the configured E-form entry screen
  • Changed Asset and Document panels to toggle each other instead of Documents being in a pop up panel when using Asset Tracking
• Add-Ins
  • Added Background Color and Text Color options for Add-In buttons
• Auto-Complete Fields
  • Updated to allow TAB key to act as a select option when using arrows to scroll through items

 

Fixes

This is a list of the issues we fixed since the previous release

• Personal Queue
  • If a purged record is in your personal work queue, it will not allow you to continue past it
• E-forms
  • Document viewers inside of Panels in Flex Columns will extend beyond the bottom of the row (applied to v4.26)
  • E-form Fields not responding to dynamic ‘Save To Record ID’ changes
  • Container fields not honoring width and height settings
  • Document viewer not scrolling when height / max-height set
  • Toolbar field – Cannot add right-side options
  • DateTime – Cannot set value dynamically
  • Multi-Option fields in new forms are only populating with 1 option even if multiple have been saved previously
• Notifications
  • If any email is invalid then the entire email is not sent
• Viewer
  • Emails (*.msg files) can rewrite the HTML/CSS/JavaScript of the site and cause errors rending the rest of the system
  • Linked Field are not showing their linked value when the Display Mode is set to Slow Mode
  • The Display of a linked field is not working when its link limits use other field values
  • Users that should be read only based on the @SECURE tag are still Read/Write
  • Relate Records searches are causing an entry in search history
• Variables
  • DOW with no parentheses returns back the current day name instead of current day number
• Public
  • Public Search – Document viewer fails to show anything but the first document (fixed in v4.26 cloud)
• Workflow
  • Return Table Data action – Does not work when returning a single column of data
• Collaboration Portals
  • Shared document names are not showing using their custom settings
  • Shared documents not being limited to by the E-form and Value dependencies
  • UI Setting for showing portals not working for Read Only users

  • Charting – Weekly date chart bars are not clickable for drill down searching
