New and Updated Features

This is a list of the new features, functions and enhancements added since the previous release

• E-forms
  • Combined Signature Pad – Added personal signature support (applied to 4.38/4.37)
  • Added Data Source field
  • Added Chart fields – Bar, Line, Pie and Stacked Bar
  • Made Calendar and Map fields available to all Enterprise sites
  • Updated Calendar and Location Map so they can bind to Data Source fields
  • Added support for larger file uploads – uploads are not chunked so the 50MB limit is no longer an issue for E-forms
  • Added Required Documents field 
  • Linked fields now support {Field} for the values to limit by (previously only [Field] were supported and only for values from the same row in the table
• Workflow
  • CSV Line Loop – Added [CSVAN:(header)] to allow easier extraction of values in columns with parentheses, etc. (applied to 4.38/4.37)
  • REST Action – Added support for logging Response Code and added failure updates (applied to 4.38/4.37)
  • Removed IMAP and POP3 actions
  • Added Searchable PDF option to “Convert Document to PDF” action
  • SPLIT SAVE – Now skips records that do not save or route properly but will process the others. Previously, a failure on split 2 of 10 would have stopped splits 2 thru 10 from processing. Now split 2 is skipped and error details are logged in the failed split records themselves and not the original record.
  • Initiate Workflow Route can now route a Document directly in the same way an E-form routes
  • Added Build JSON action to convert Records to JSON objects
• Admin
  • Rights Change – Admins that are not FULL admins but have User Admin rights can manage all settings for users except granting Admin rights and using the “Log In As” feature
  • Updated all list filters to persist
  • Added filtering to workflow list
  • Updated the System Alerts admin section to a new System Advisor system that tracks corrections and adds current security status
  • Branding screen updated to affect actual UI while making changes (still needs save)
  • Added Word Merge Template checker
  • Added Record Type selector to filter add-ins to only those in the selected RecordType

  • Updated Record Type Link fields to work like Text and not reformat Number/Date values
• Variables
  • TABLE – Added option to use wildcards in column names
  • CSVFORMAT – Updated to remove line feed and carriage return characters
  • CLEANCUR – Updated the logic to convert 12,34 (comma) to 12.34 (period) 
  • USERRECORDTYPES – Return list of Record Type a user has specified rights to
  • DOCISEFORM – Checks to see if document is an E-form
  • DOCEFORMID – Returns the E-form ID of the current or specified document
  • JSONRECORDOBJ – Converts single Record’s data into a mapped JSON format
• System
  • SMS on cloud is now only active for workflow notifications unless site adds their own Twilio info
  • SMS on premise is available if the site adds their own Twilio info
• Viewer
  • Added support for MarkDown (MD) files
  • Added thumbnail support for E-forms using a generalization of the form contents
  • Manually merging forms (templates) in the viewer now supports variables for Category, Subcategory and Name
  • Added indicator for Reporting users that shows if the current Record has a deferred action running
• SSO
  • SSO is now supported in the Admin screens directly with no PS required to implement
  • Added support for SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Okta
• Toolbar
  • Added Pin/Unpin options for Search, Entry and Form lists
  • Uploading large documents now shows real progress in progress bar instead of just seeing a static “Uploading Document” message
• OCR
  • Changed the OCR queuing system into a more manageable X jobs at a time per tenant to keep the OCR processing for everyone equally. This also prevents any one tenant’s database being from overloaded by having too many OCR jobs flooding their database at the same time.
• Reports
  • Added Document ID column to Current Workflow Report and Workflow History Report
• Auto-Complete / Linked fields
  • Updated auto-complete fields so the item selection list floats over the screen instead of pushing the screen down

Fixes

This is a list of the issues we fixed since the previous release

• Login / Security
  • User security is preventing users from changing their passwords (applied to 4.38/4.37)
  • Login – Users getting V3 errors after login (applied to 4.38/4.37)
  • Login – Users getting errors when password change is forced (applied to 4.38/4.37)
• Viewer
  • Click indexing not working on first load. Have to close and re-open edit screen (applied to 4.38/4.37)
  • Record Entry – hidden fields show up in line items when editing
• Workflow 
  • Reverse matching not working properly when > 100 characters in match field
  • Reverse Matching is not using disqualifying words properly
  • Users without save rights are triggering a Record Save when a workflow button is clicked which causes error message
  • Due Date filter rule UI accepts variables but rule itself only accepts numbers – changed UI to number input
  • Send Email action would not send document links – only full attachments
  • Fixed issue with REST workflow action not setting headers properly
  • @OCR… and @SPLIT… variables are being duplicated in workflow
• Variables
  • ISNUMERIC is failing when the value has leading or trailing spaces (applied to 4.38/4.37)
  • End bracket – ] – in text breaks tokens

  • Toolbar add-ins cannot launch E-forms

  • Computing storage size can fail if someone purges a document while report is running
  • Data Trail Report – Document level data items are showing up when they should not be

  • Fixed issue with Undo/Redo in E-form editor and made it a smoother interaction
  • Fixed issue with Hide/Show Controls option that prevented drag and drop from working
  • Signature pads show broken mage link when there is no signature and the field is disabled

  • PDF merge form error when field name is blank in merge form
  • RULEs are not evaluating properly and are leaving errors in the documents
  • Fixed PDF merge error that produced “object not set to an instance of an object” errors
  • Fixed Word merge errors on nested tables
